how it works
SKILL LEVEL
We offer two court options so players can choose the run that fits them best.
Competitive Court
This is our higher-level run. Most players are intermediate to advanced — you’ve played pickup consistently, understand spacing, ball movement, and team concepts, and can keep up in a faster-paced, more physical game. The expectation here is to compete, play hard, and make the right basketball plays.
Rec-Level Court
This is still good basketball, just a step down in intensity. You’ll get more touches, more space, and a more relaxed pace while still playing real 5v5. It’s a great option if you’re getting back into the game, prefer a less intense run, or just want a more balanced, fun experience.
Both courts are coed and part of the same community — just two different ways to run.
format
We play full-court, coed, 5v5 pickup basketball.
Teams are created at game time using a card system — your suit is your team. This keeps things random, quick, and balanced so we can start games immediately without wasting time picking teams.
Games are played to 11 (1s and 2s) or capped at 11 minutes, depending on pace and turnout. This keeps runs moving and ensures more people get consistent play time.
Winning team stays on. Losing team rotates off or moves to the second court if it’s running.
If a team wins three straight, they will sit one game to keep rotations fair. If matchups feel off, we’ll make quick adjustments to keep games competitive.
The focus is simple: keep games moving, minimize downtime, and create consistently good runs.
signING up
All sessions are pay-to-play and must be booked in advance on our schedule page.
Spots are first come, first served. The first 15 players are in, and once full, a waitlist opens.
If the waitlist reaches 7 or more players, a second court will automatically open (depending on gym availability), and those players will be moved into the session.
Booking is done online only. No walk-ins.
On Game Day
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to warm up. Teams are pulled right at the start time, and being late can throw off team balance for everyone.
Bring indoor shoes, water, and a light and dark shirt or a reversible jersey to help with clear team identification. FCC reversible jerseys are available for purchase.
Games start on time and run continuously, so being ready to go matters.

How the run works
Plan to stay for the full session. Taking a spot and leaving early impacts the flow and number of players rotating.
Games are self-officiated. Call your own fouls and keep things moving.
We rely on players to play the right way — share the ball, communicate, and help keep the run competitive and organized.
If something feels off during games, speak up. Small adjustments go a long way in improving the overall run.
WAITLIST AND SECOND COURT
If you’re on the waitlist and a spot opens, you’ll receive an email notification.
You will have one hour to claim and pay for your spot before it is offered to the next player.
If numbers are low for a session, updates will be communicated ahead of time through email and social channels before any cancellations are made.
CANCELLATIONS AND CREDITS
If you cancel 24 or more hours before your session and your spot is filled, you will receive a credit for a future run.
Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are not eligible for credit.
Accurate attendance is important to keep games organized, balanced, and running as expected.
THE VIBE
This format has been built and refined through real player feedback.
The goal is to create a consistent, organized, and competitive run where players can show up, get good games in, and know what to expect every time.
Come ready to play, be a good teammate, and contribute to the run. That’s what keeps this community strong.
