Our Team
FCC runs because of the people behind it. Meet the team that makes the sessions happen, the community grow, and the courts worth coming back to!
Brittney
She started FCC with one gym, a few players, and a Facebook group — and somehow turned it into a full-blown multi-sport community. A former college basketball player and working mom of two, Brittney has been hooping since 2nd grade and has zero plans to stop. She built FCC because the runs dried up after college and she knew she wasn't the only one who missed the game. Now she's building something that lasts — basketball, volleyball, tournaments, community, and whatever's next.
Founder
Jess
Director, Operations & CommunityCourt Captain - Volleyball
Jess has been playing volleyball longer than most people have had a favorite team. She started in 5th grade, played through high school, competed in club for five years, brought it to college intramurals, and ran rec, competitive, and sand leagues along the way — then spent three years coaching at Crystal Lake Central. She knows this game from every angle, and now she brings that same energy to FCC. The program is in good hands.
Mike
Mike has been playing basketball since he was 6 years old, and the game has been a constant ever since. That kind of lifelong dedication shows up every time he steps on the court — in the way he moves, the way he reads the game, and the way other players respond to him. In 2014, he took it to the next level, suiting up for the Chicago Fury in the ABA. So when we say he knows ball, we mean it.
He found FCC just over a year ago and has barely missed a run since. Cool, calm, and collected — Mike's the type of guy who doesn't need to say much because his game says it all. No ego, no drama, just a deep love for the sport and a presence that makes every session better. We're lucky to have him.
Court Captain - Basketball
Aaron
Assistant Court Captain - BasketballAaron jumped in as regulars over a year ago and never looked back. He brings the hustle every single week — the kind of energy that raises the level of everyone around him.
Cassie
Court Captain - VolleyballCassie has been connected to volleyball almost her entire life. She started in 6th grade, played through middle school and high school on both school and club teams — until injuries cut her junior year short. She stayed close to the game through her younger sister, who played varsity all four years, and coached middle school teams during college. Then life happened — a move, a family — and the court went quiet for over a decade.
2025 brought her back. And if you've seen her play, you'd never know she was away. Calm, consistent, and exactly the kind of energy every court needs — Cassie is proof that once the game is in you, it doesn't leave.
SAM
Assistant Court Captain - VolleyballSam was there almost from day one of FCC Volleyball — one of the first to jump in when the program launched. She played in school, loves the game deeply, and has shown up eager to help grow it into what it is today. Reliable, passionate, and exactly the kind of person you want running a court.
MACY
Social Media & ContentMacy played basketball from 2nd grade through her sophomore year of college — including a Juco season where she ranked 13th in the nation, earned the Heart and Hustle Award, and was named team captain. Now she channels that same drive into building FCC's brand. A recent UW-Whitewater grad, Macy handles content creation, reels, graphics, and everything that makes FCC look good on your feed.
