6v6 1-day blind draw tournament

Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 7th at More Sports Complex in Volo—our one-day, adult (18+) co-ed volleyball tournament built for high energy, good vibes, and friendly competition.

Entry is $35/player or $65/pair of 2. Bring a partner or sign up solo and send me your level (A-advanced, B-intermediate, C-beginner) and we’ll blind draw teams the morning of with balanced levels spread across the teams

TOURNAMENT Format

Games are standard 6v6 rotation and rally scoring. We’ll start at 8:30 A.M. sharp with round robin for seeding. Each team plays three matches in pool play. Pool matches are to 15/15/11 win by 2, cap at 17/17/13. Records and point differentials will seed the playoff bracket.

RULES

  • Standard 6v6 indoor play, rally scoring.

  • No open-hand tips.

  • Let serves allowed (a serve that touches the net but still goes over is legal and playable).

  • Blocks do not count as a touch (team still gets 3 contacts).

  • Clean ball contact only — no lifts, carries, or throws.

  • Players in the back row can only attack behind the 10 ft. line

  • No net contact; crossing the centerline is allowed if it doesn’t interfere with play.

  • Serving: jump serves allowed; may not block or attack a serve.

  • Foot faults: Server must not step on/over the end line before contact; attackers may not cross fully under the net or interfere with opponents.

  • Minimum 3 players required to start a match.

Sportsmanship & Reffing
All teams are expected to ref their assigned matches, make honest and fair calls, and maintain strong sportsmanship throughout the day. This is an FCC tournament — good vibes only!

EXTRAS
